DIRECTIONS: Store between 5°C (40°F) and 44°C (110°F). Use only on PVC Plastic Products. Stir and use as is, if solvent-cement becomes jelled, replace. Use within 1 year of production date, as printed on label. Read ASTM D-2885 for Detailed Installation Guide.
1. Cut pipe square and deburr or bevel 10° - 15°. Clean and dry joining surfaces to be free of debris. 2. Check dry fit. Fitting should go over end of pipe easily but become tight about 1/3 or 2/3 way on. 3. Use a suitable applicator at least 1/2 the size of pipe diameter; for pipes in larger sizes, use a roller. 4. Apply a full, even layer of solventcement on the pipe end, equal to the depth of the socket. Coat the joining surface of the fitting socket with a medium layer. Apply a second, full and even layer on pipe end. Solventcement should fill all gaps but care should be taken to avoid excessive coating or puddling. 5. On bell-end pipes, do not coat beyond socket depth or allow solvent-cement to run beyond bell to avoid puddling at socket depth. 6. Assemble while solvent-cement is wet. Twist 1/8 or 1/4 turn until reaching pipe stop. To avoid pushout, hold for about 30 seconds. Wipe off excess. 7. Allow 30 minutes for good handling strength. Cure time before testing depends on size, fit, temperature and pressure.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Do not consume internally. Keep away from heat, spark, open flame, other sources of ignition. Vapors may ignite explosively. Use only in well ventilated area. Avoid inhaling vapors. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use skin and eye protection. Eye contact may cause injury. Keep container closed when not in use.
If uncomfortable from inhalation of vapors, move quickly to open space for fresh air. If not breathing, administer artificial respiration immediately. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen and call physician. In case of eye or skin contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. If swallowed, give 2 glasses of water. Do not induce vomiting. Contact physician immediately.
